Artistic Project is a series of large-format botanical drawings in ink and charcoal, more loose and gestural than strictly scientific. Scale invites the whole arm into the work; the materials invite accident.
Made during the Artistic Project course at FBAUL, the series became a space for experimentation, testing how far botanical observation could bend toward expression without losing its subject.
This experimental body of work became the foundation for the master's thesis on ancestral forests that followed.
