After completing the master's thesis on ancestral forests, this personal project explores the relationship between art and nature through vibrant acrylics on A3 paper. Dynamic compositions that translate the energy of the natural landscape, and that became the pages of the 2025 Souluarte calendar.

Ink & Graphite · 2022–2023
A series of visual records based on everyday surroundings. Scenes, objects, and spontaneous moments captured in ink and graphite, direct observation as a daily practice. Each drawing is a fragment of life translated through gesture and contrast.
From the Ground
to Glass
Glass · 2023
Developed during a glass course in the Master's in Drawing at FBAUL. Plants collected and studied became plaster molds; glass was placed inside and fired in a specialized kiln. The result: a collection of unique pieces that preserve botanical delicacy in a new materiality.
Artistic Project

Large-format botanical drawings in ink and charcoal, more loose and gestural than scientific. Made during the Artistic Project course at FBAUL, this experimental series became the foundation for the master's thesis on ancestral forests.
Wild Portuguese
Orchids

A series of scientific illustrations developed during the master's program. Four species of wild Portuguese orchids painted in watercolor with botanical precision, composed as a scientific illustration poster following classical principles of the tradition.

A series of portraits developed during the master's program and through personal practice. Some drawn from live models, gestures and expressions captured in real time, others emerged through artistic experimentation.
